One month in and the Marsden completes their first Guernsey mortgage

SPF Private Clients is pleased to announce Marsden Building Society have already completed their first local mortgage.

Marsden Mortgage Solutions are available exclusively from SPF, who introduced them to the island, and see the swift uptake as confirmation that a new lender will prove a much-needed addition to the island’s mortgage market. The lender offers a range of options available for Guernsey residents from Residential, 55+ mortgages, larger mortgages and interest only mortgages.

SPF Managing Director Pierre Blampied said, “We worked with the Marsden for over 2 years, prior to launch, designing products which we felt the local mortgage market required. This demonstrates that we got it right and are now opening up lending opportunities which were previously not available.’’

This whole process was extremely smooth and efficient. An application was lodged, and the property valued in August. Shortly afterwards Marsden Building Society issued the facility letter and the clients drew down on the facility on 13th September.
