Applying for changes to your mortgage

Couple make changes to their Marsden Building Society mortgage online

There are some changes you can make to your mortgage online, without the advice of a Marsden Mortgage Advisor.

This page tells you more about the changes you can make, changes you can't make and what the next steps are if you feel comfortable making changes yourself.

What changes can I make online?

Changes to your mortgage term

You can apply to extend or reduce your mortgage term.

Changes to your repayment method

You can apply to change the repayment method of your mortgage from interest only to capital repayment, or from capital repayment to interest only. If you apply to change your mortgage from interest only to capital repayment, you can request a change to your mortgage term at the same time.

Changes that can't be made online

You can't apply to make changes online if you need our advice to make a change, want to add or remove a borrower on the mortgage account, or if you want to change your mortgage product. If your current mortgage product is approaching maturity, we'll be in touch with the new product options you're eligible for.
