Paying off your mortgage

If you'd like to pay off your mortgage, and you aren't using a solicitor to do so, you can request a Redemption Statement from us.

Requesting a Redemption Statement

Notice to solicitors: please use LMS to request a redemption statement.

You can request a Redemption Statement by filling in the form on this page, but there's a few things you'll need to note first...

We'll need to know the date you plan to pay off your mortgage

So that we can calculate the redemption figure correctly, we’ll need to know the exact date you plan to send the funds to pay off your mortgage, as daily interest is charged. The figure provided will include interest up to and including the day of redemption at the interest rate applicable at that time.

You'll need to send the full amount on the same day

You’ll need to send the full amount on the same day, so you may need to contact your bank in advance to ask for their help due to daily limits. If you’re unable to send the full amount on the same day, please contact us before any smaller payments are made to avoid any unnecessary fees.

Receiving your statement

The redemption statement request will be processed after the monthly payment is due, unless the expected redemption is before this date. It will be sent to you by email to the email address we hold on our records.

We can send you up to two redemption statements in any 12-month rolling period free of charge. Any additional statements are charged at £25 per statement.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage
