A notice account is a type of savings account that requires you to give us advance notice before making a withdrawal. The amount of notice required will depend on the terms and conditions of your account.

Yes, you can make additional deposits at any time, up to the maximum amount allowed in the terms and conditions of the account.

You can withdraw from your account by giving notice in one of our branches. It’s not possible to withdraw funds without giving notice, so it’s important to be mindful of when you may need the money to ensure you allow enough time.

Please note that limits may apply to cash withdrawals.

Yes, you can usually open a notice savings account as a joint account with a maximum of two names. For information about how joint savings accounts impact your personal savings allowance, visit GOV.UK website (External).

If you’d like to open a joint savings account, be sure to check the terms and conditions to ensure that the account selected is eligible to be opened jointly.

Notice for withdrawing from a Marsden notice savings account must be given in branch. The amount of notice required will be defined in your account’s terms and conditions.

Our notice savings accounts can be opened and managed in a branch. Once the account has been opened in a branch, account holders can register for eSavings to view the account online.

Please note, products can be withdrawn at any time and without notice.
